Florida High School Rodeo

The Florida High School Rodeo (FHSRA) will hold a competition in Okeechobee on Saturday, February 7, and Sunday, February 8, 2026. This event brings student athletes from across the state to compete in traditional rodeo disciplines as they qualify for the state and national finals.

Facilities: A 190-acre facility with a covered, lighted arena and seating for 4,000 people.
Admission: Spectator admission is typically free for high school rodeo qualifying events.
Rodeo Events
Student competitors showcase their skills in nine core events:
Rough Stock: Bull Riding, Bareback Riding, and Saddle Bronc.
Timed Events: Steer Wrestling, Barrel Racing, Team Roping, Breakaway Roping, Tie-down Roping, Goat Tying, and Pole Bending.
